too good & co. Fruit On The Bottom, Black Cherry Yogurt

This yogurt caught my eye a couple of weeks ago while grocery shopping. Normally, I just pass by the fruit-on-the-bottom varieties because they’re typically high in sugar. But being familiar with too good & co. and their marketing focus on healthy, low-sugar options, I gave it a quick check.

I was pleasantly surprised with the macros and decided to give it a try.

Some Closing Thoughts

I enjoy eating all these high-protein Greek yogurts and Skyrs I’ve been posting about. But I also use them strategically to help keep my protein intake higher. With that in mind, at 42% protein, this yogurt is lower than many of the others I’ve reviewed. So, I don’t eat these in multiples per day or even every day. I treat them more as an occasional go-to when I’m craving something sweet or fruity.

It’s not a super high-sugar yogurt—but it is a bit higher in sugar and lower in protein-per-calorie than many of the high-protein, no-added-sugar options I usually highlight for my clients. Nonetheless, it’s delicious and definitely a current occasional favorite.

Coach Ken’s Verdict

All in all, this is a solid, high-protein snack choice for anyone trying to up their protein or simply eat better. Or for anyone looking to satisfy a sweet tooth without blowing up their goals. Or both.

This too good & co. Blended Fruit On The Bottom, Black Cherry Yogurt is a creamy, high-ish-protein yogurt with great taste and just the right touch of sweetness. I’ve had this flavor several times and look forward to trying the others soon.
