La Banderita Carb Counter Soft Taco Wraps
This is another wrap I’ve shared with many clients already. This “Soft Taco” wrap is another versatile staple to add to your meal planning. La Banderita Carb Counter, Soft Taco wraps also have outstanding macros. Again, this a great choice to help lower carbs, increase fiber, and add a small amount of plant protein to top it off. If you’re looking for a high-fiber, low-carb alternative to traditional bread and tortillas, this again is another wrap that delivers!
Why Choose These Wraps?
✔ Big fiber boost—12gr of fiber in each wrap
✔ Low in carbs—just 2g net carbs
✔ Low in fat—just 1.5gr per wrap, no trans fat, no saturated fat
✔ Made with extra virgin olive oil—a heart-healthy ingredient
Compared to the Ole Extreme wraps and the La Banderita Wheat wraps I’ve posted previously, I find these to be the softest of the three varieties. All three wraps are very similar macro wise. These have the lowest protein content of the three options. But also the highest fiber and lowest carb count of the three.
I wouldn’t make too much of this comparison though as the differences are minimal. Fiber variations are within 1 gram. Protein variations are within 3 grams. Carb variations are within 3 grams. All are high fiber. All are low carb.
At the end of the day, and in the context of your total food for the day, these variations are almost meaningless. I’m just pointing them out to be factual and as a lesson in how you should review the labels on everything you feed yourself.
You need to read the nutrition labels on your food in detail to understand the nutrition value of what you are eating. If you need to learn more about label reading, take the time to learn. You’re health will thank you!
